Terrance Gelenter, Director and Tour Leader
Terrance is a fluent French speaker and has for many years been a frequent visitor to Paris. This has given him
an intimate acquaintance with its less-familiar cafés, museums & restaurants, and helped him form a network of Parisian
friends. Few non-Frenchman know the City of Light so intimately. His work has also brought him into contact with
numerous figures in the world of French literature and show business, including Juliette Binoche, an Oscar-winner for
THE ENGLISH PATIENT, Diane Johnson, author of LE DIVORCE & LE MARIAGE etc, Serge Toubiana, editor of the prestigious film
journal CAHIERS DU CINEMA, Dominique Lapierre, author of IS PARIS BURNING?, to name a few.

Juan Sanchez, Wine Connoisseur
Owner of La Dernière Goutte, the Left Bank wine shop where he hosts weekly wine tastings featuring new discoveries
from creative young winemakers. On any given Saturday you are likely to discover
one of them on site talking about their wines. The former chef also co-owns Fish Le Boissonerie, a delicious
bistro around the corner from La Dernière Goutte where you can pair his wines with the simplest and freshest of fish,
meats and produce. We like it so much that Paris Through Expatriate Eyes has chosen it to be the scene of our opening
night dinners.

Minor Knight, Fashion and Shopping Expert
From her apartment above the Carrefour de L'Odéon in the chic Sixth arrondissement, Minor Knight looks out
over a Paris which has no secrets from her. She came to France from Martha's Vineyard fifteen years ago to
get married, and stayed to make a career researching TV and movie projects for visiting film companies. Some
of the glamour has rubbed off. 'Aren't you that famous movie star?' quavered an awed waitress at a recent dinner.
(Well, she is in Roman Polanski's last film....)". Minor puts her extensive knowledge
of Paris to work by helping our tour participants find the best fashions at the best prices in town.
